Terms and conditions for our Barbara Hulanicki wellies competition on Facebook

These are the rules which apply to your participation in our Barbara Hulanicki wellies competition on Facebook (“the Competition”).

By submitting your entry and by entering the Competition you agree to these rules. If you do not agree please do not submit this information to Asda.

BARBARA HULANICKI WELLIES COMPETITION

The promoter of the Competition is Asda Stores Limited (“Asda”) and the Competition is organised by IMP Media Limited on behalf of Asda. There are three prizes and three winners – each of whom will win a pair of purple abstract print wellies from the Barbara Hulanicki range for George.

The Competition is open to UK residents aged 16 or over, excluding Asda employees, their families, agents or any person or company associated with this Competition. Entrants under 18 on Monday 4th July 2011 should obtain written permission from their parent or guardian and produce such permission to Asda if required.

Details of the Competition Prize and how to enter are set out on the George Facebook website and are incorporated into these terms and conditions.

To make a valid entry you must:
1. “Like” the George at Asda Facebook page.
2. Click the competition tab on the left-hand side of the page.
3. Enter your name, email address and shoe size into the entry form.
4. Tell us why you’d like to win a pair of wellies for summer – then click ‘Submit’.

All entries must be received by 11am on Monday 4th July 2011. Asda will not be responsible for the non-receipt of any entry.

Asda will convene an independent judging panel (“the Judges”) to select the comments that in their view are the most original and deserving of one of the prizes.

Asda reserves the right to use the Entrants’ names to market the Competition or showcase the work of Asda or IMP Media Limited.

Asda reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason at its absolute discretion.

The decisions of the Judges are final. Neither correspondence nor discussion concerning any decision shall be entered into.

Asda reserves the right to disqualify any entry if it has reasonable grounds to believe you have breached any of these terms and conditions.

Asda shall be under no obligation to include your entry in the Competition and may remove comments from the Facebook page for any reason at its discretion.

Entry to the Competition by Entrants is done at his/her own risk.

No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.

The Winners will be notified by email as soon as possible after the Competition has closed. If any Winner does not respond to Asda’s notification within 14 days they may forfeit their right to any prize and Asda may at its discretion select a replacement Winner.

Only the three Winners will be contacted by Asda. The Winners’ names may be published on the Asda website or you can write to Barbara Hulanicki Facebook Competition Winners, IMP Media Ltd, Priory Park, The Great North Road, Aberford, Leeds, LS25 3DF, including a self-addressed stamped envelope, for details of the Winners.

COMPETITION PRIZE

There will be three winners – each of whom will win a pair of purple abstract print wellies from the Barbara Hulanicki range.

The Competition Prize is non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. Asda reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time.

Asda reserves the right to seek and issue publicity on behalf of the Entrants. By entering the Competition, the Entrants agree to participate in publicity as reasonably requested surrounding the Competition.

Our terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. Both you and Asda hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Asda reserves the right to review and revise these rules from time to time without giving you prior notice. By entering the Competition subsequent to any revision of these rules, you agree to be bound by such changes.
